Death of Will Jones River City
WS was received in the city today regarding the death of Will Jones river. The body will be brought to his city for burial. He was a son of Attorney I. D. Jones and of the late C. A. Jones. Deccas was born and raised in Jefferson County. The news of his death will be received with regret. A fire destroyed a building last evening due to an explosion of a mobile gasoline tank. The fire department’s prompt work saved the structure from total demolition.

Mrs Sadie James died suddenly at her Centerville home after a brief illness. Her sons Dr Lora D James and Dr C S James mourn her loss, with other relatives in Americus Kansas. Funeral services were held Saturday. Clifford N Stewart, nineteen, died of typhoid at 2:45 am, prompting community sympathy for the Stewart family of 304 North Elm. Clifford was a North End resident and member of the faith.

Death of Rasmus Rasmus Ends Long County Residency
Rasmus Rasmus, a 30 year county resident and former Ward Lamson employee, died in Melrose after residing there since last spring. Funeral rites were held at a Bysterian church home this afternoon, with interment in Ottumwa Tuesday. He left Hedrick for Melrose last spring and is survived by a wife and twelve children including Mrs. John Barnes of Polk township and Mrs. J. E. Ramey of Blackhawk township.
