Parsons Students Enter Military Service Training Corps
One hundred ten Parsons College students were mustered into the U S government service Tuesday by army officers. The group forms the Parsons College Student Army Training Corps part of a national college unit. They receive soldier pay board clothing and education with military instruction and are subject to war department orders. Exercises at Barhydt chapel followed the mustering with addresses by W G Ross and President Montgomery before a large crowd.

Local farmers contributed 101 loads of oats and one load of barley with the Trans Miss Grain Co handling free.
