Prehistoric Giant Teeth Found in Massachusetts Field
Seven feet underground in Shrewsbury, eight gigantic teeth and bone fragments were unearthed by farmer William Maynard. The teeth measure about four by two inches with serrated enamel, suggesting a creature far larger than a horse, possibly fifty to sixty feet if a lizard, or at least fifteen times a horse in size. A joint visit by local natural history societies will guide further digs.
