Newark N J March 20 William Strasburger an applicant for enlistment in the United States Marine Corps pricked his great toe and let blood flow to prove German heritage. Glasgow and Round Prairie residents gathered for a Red Cross and YMC A benefit sale. Farm products drew strong prices with seed corn at 9.50 a bushel and maple syrup at 5 a gallon.
