Two Arcadia youths killed each other in Wyoming hotel

Reported as a fatal duel in Ranchester Wyoming, William Duncker and Herman Hansen both of Arcadia Iowa, died with revolvers in hand. Officials say they were lifelong friends and likely murdered for money. Duncker’s body to Iowa, Hansen’s to Indiana. Both about 25.

Sixth Annual Iowa Democratic Banquet Set for April 2

The Iowa Democratic club will host its sixth annual banquet at the Savery hotel Des Moines on April 2 1908. Principal speakers include William J Bryan and Senator Bob Taylor with Governor Haskell and Senator Owens of Oklahoma possibly attending. Toastmaster is George F Rinehart. State Board schedules teachers examination for March dates
