City Council Proceedings June 7 1921 Fairfield Iowa
The Fairfield Iowa city council met June 7 1921 with Mayor Zeigler and six members present. They approved minutes, debated curb grade for Gilbert street, referred real estate purchase to judiciary, and ordered water rates enforcement. A resolution authorizing a water contract with the Chicago Burlington Quincy Railroad was approved, and bills across funds were listed with one payment hold. Adjournment set to June 14 1921. A note on naturalization of Thomas Blackbird, Sioux veteran, as a full citizen follows.
