Store offers suits from $9.00 to $12.50 made by skilled workmen with modern trimmings. Regular prices range $15.00 to $22.50, now $11.88. Also selections in skirts waists and dresses in black and white wash silks and fine lawns with eyelet embroidery, limited stock.
The ceremony at J E Roth & Co on Dyke Street drew many friends and relatives for a reception and wedding supper. The couple, Donna Van Dyke and her partner, celebrated with gifts and well wishes as Rev Osborne officiated. Knights of Pythias I O O F and Rebekahs held their first joint memorial for deceased members last Sunday. A 2 pm parade led by the Forest City band marched from the park to the Opera House for a program including music, prayers, and speakers, followed by a procession to the cemetery where graves were adorned with flowers. Names include Mrs. Alex Gordon Verne Hague J C Bley Emma Clarke Jennie Wilkins Walter Hughes Brooks Ireland and many more visiting relatives and attending weddings commencements and graduations. A Jefferson County Old Settlers group also plans a September reunion in Fairfield with committees named for arrangements program decorations music and relics.
