Fatal Shot Accident Claims Life Of Local Farmer
Harry Junkin of eight miles northwest of Fairfield died last Friday after attempting to dislodge a jammed shotgun shell by striking the gun. The blast entered the left side and pierced the heart, killing him instantly. He was 31, married to Mary Yount, left widow and two sons, with parents and two brothers surviving. Funeral services were held at the family home Sunday, conducted by Rev. Thos. Osborne.
