Democrats of Iowa Convene in Sioux City Nomination Session

The Iowa Democrats plan a September 18 1889 meet in Sioux City at 9 30 A M to nominate Governor lieutenant governor supreme court judges superintendent of public instruction one railroad commissioner and other business. Delegates allotted 2 per county plus one for each 300 votes over 100 in 1888 for Grover Cleveland. Committee proposes county committees be formed at the convention and that county officers may be nominated there to avoid a second convention. By order CHAS D FULLEN secretary July 18.
