The notice repeats the county convention call for Saturday August 8 with a delegate convention. Primaries are set for Thursday August 6. Senator Teller praises Mr. Bryan’s nomination and predicts his election, offering support from western silver Republicans and campaign speeches if needed.
The Journal of the Knights of Labor reports support for Bryan and Sewall by the Populist convention in St Louis on the 22d inst. The Knights of Labor alliance with the Populists appears assured. The weekly issue attacks McKinley and Hanna and their trust syndicate.

Cimarron Kansas youth and Bryan friend L L Ady writes from Linncoln Nebraska dated February 3 to Topeka urging silver backing beside gold. He identifies as a Silver Democrat seeking free silver regardless of the party stance and hopes reforms come soon.
