Funeral services for C C Morris held at home

The long funeral procession to the cemetery included pallbearers Ik A Howard H E Kinslee Geo D Clark Will Grimes and W A White and a variety of floral offerings. The notice corrected the previous error stating the operation lasted nearly two hours, not three.

Dead man found near Ottumwa after train No 11 incident
A deceased traveler believed to have walked off the Chicago Burlington and Quincy No 11 train was found three miles east of Ottumwa around 2 30 a m. Coroner Evans and Constable Young conducted a search and an inquest was postponed to tomorrow at 10 a m to hear train crew testimony. The clothing included an envelope to M Rh Earles of Ohio and a letter from Mary Ward.
