Miss Anna Simons died at her mother's home on North Main Street on Wednesday morning June 30, 1909. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church, conducted by Rev. C L Tennant and Rev. Thomas Osborn, with burial in Evergreen cemetery. She had lived in Fairfield for years and was a beloved choir member with many floral tributes from friends and societies.
