City Council Approves Quarantine Bill and Raises Officials

January 30 regular city council meeting notes payment approval for C A Herring’s quarantine goods for David Clark family. Treasurer reports show funds across general water bond road and sewer accounts with overdraft in sewer fund. Mayor reports 43 arrests and 615 dollars in fines, many uncollected. Council approves oak lumber bids, buys a Formaldehyde generator, raises city marshal and engineer salaries, and appoints new water light staff. Meeting adjourned to February 27 at 7 PM.
