Jefferson County Short Course Enlivens Bad Weather Session
The second Jefferson County Short Course progresses despite poor roads and storms with about 235 tickets sold across Agricultural and Domestic Science departments. Exhibits include corn in Spence's building and livestock at Gilchrist's pavilion with prize stock, dairy work at Hartman’s and Lamson’s stalls, and domestic science at the Methodist church. Evening talks and entertainment are planned in Library Hall with free admission and multiple presenters from Ames and local educators.
