German Lutheran Church to be dedicated in Arcadia

The German Lutheran Church will be dedicated at Arcadia on September 12. A saloon near Iowa City burned recently causing $1,200 in losses. A Thornburg Montezuma rail line is planned to be completed by November. Four Jessup men claim a fast steppers with offers around 2500 but demand 8000. The Grand Lodge of Good Templars meets in Des Moines the first week of September.
