The Democratic party of Jefferson County Iowa calls a delegate convention in Fairfield at the court room on September 3 1898 at eleven o clock for selecting delegates to the state and congressional conventions and nominating county officers including Clerk Auditor County Attorney Recorder and Board of Supervisors. Representation is one delegate per township or precinct plus one for every thirty votes and fraction of fifteen or more cast for F E White in 1897.
