Des Moines March 31 The Twentyeth General Assembly adjourned after passing a highway measure and a wide array of bills. Included were appropriations of 50000 for locating the State fair and 50000 to aid in establishing a Soldiers Home in Iowa. Other acts cover rail depots, recording of chattel mortgages, public sewers, and tax authorizations. Senate and House bills passed contemplate public works, health, and education, with joint conventions electing state officers and regents. Adjourned sine die after extensive session.
