The third annual Pumpkin Festival at Greenfield Farms in Fairfield runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with hay rides, refreshments, pumpkin painting and scarecrow making contests. Local farming history is highlighted as Robert Haydn leases the 21 acres bought by the town in 1998 for open space.
