Folate Powers Memory: Dutch Study Links High Dose Folic Acid
A Dutch study finds high-dose folic acid 800 micrograms daily may slow age related cognitive decline in adults 50 to 75. Memory and processing speed tests show users perform closer to younger peers, potentially by reducing inflammation and affecting dementia related genes. Rich folate foods include leafy greens, beans, whole grains, salmon and citrus. If you or a family member needs care options at home or in facility settings consider these services.
