TPZ Rejects Portable Classrooms at Fairfield High
The Town Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 to 1 to reject a Special Exemption for five relocatable classrooms at Fairfield High School due to safety concerns. The plan would have placed portables at the rear near the tennis courts, requiring students to cross a busy driveway. Headmaster John Dodig voiced surprise at the decision, noting timeliness mattered for portables.
