Easton condo plan denied by unanimous vote

Easton Planning & Zoning Commission denied Running Brook Farm LLC's plan for 44 age restricted condos on South Park Avenue. The panel cited potential Mill River septic risks, lack of emergency access, missing reserve teaching field, no enforcement mechanism for age rules, and inconsistency with the town master plan.

Fairfield Stags NCAA finds no major violations later

In March 2003 allegations of academic fraud and improprieties in Fairfield University basketball prompted two investigations. A year and a half later both the outside counsel review and the NCAA inquiry found no major violations, though secondary issues were noted and not released for privacy reasons.
