Redistricting plan delayed after parent complaints in Fairfield
Fairfield Board of Education postpones a decision on redistricting until January 28 as officials refine a work in progress plan. About 600 residents attended a forum at Fairfield High School where chairman John Madeo said no plan would pass unless it is the best possible. The revised plan would move several small neighborhoods to different districts to address overcrowding ahead of a new high school and two elementary schools.
