Jefferson County Bonds Near 250000 Subscriptions
Jefferson County reports 209650 in Liberty Loan subscriptions from 445 individuals as two days remain to enter bids. First payments were made on about 20000 worth on Wednesday while Boy Scouts were not allowed to collect money. The county committee expects total county subscriptions to exceed 250000 once all returns are in.

New Cases Filed for Next Term Court
Yesterday was the last day for filing cases for the November term of the District court. Only 12 new cases have been filed since the close of the September term. They are mostly damage cases and there is not one divorce case. The Town of Batavia sues the Board of Supervisors as a board of review. Damages include A. Ruggles vs L J Sheridan and others.

All items not sold at the rum mage sale will be offered at auction by nine o'clock Saturday evening with sale starting promptly at nine.
