Two of four armed highwaymen emerged from a green touring car in Diversey parkway and seized a box containing 3200 from seven year old William G Groneman a messenger for Lake View Trust and Savings bank. Audrey Smith two years old daughter of Mrs R J Smith of Hymera Indiana died in a Terre Haute hospital from a rooster spur wound to the head. In Brookville Indiana on October 25 Herman Colyer and Owen Stewart argued over an unpaid fish bill. Colyer returned with a corn knife and struck Stewart in the head causing a skull wound and facial injuries. Stewart may die. Colyer fled and has not been arrested.
