Suffrage Passes Iowa Senate
Des Moines March 22 the Iowa Senate voted 35 to 13 to adopt a joint resolution to resubmit a constitutional amendment on women's suffrage. The Kimball amendment was withdrawn after a majority supported voting for it as a separate bill. The Parker joint resolution goes to the house for potential passage and future public vote.
