Mt Pleasant High Retains Championship
Mt Pleasant High School defeated Iowa City tonight to retain the Iowa High School basketball championship. The first half ended 9 to 3 with Iowa City leading, but Mt Pleasant surged in the second half. Farshbarger hit three long shots in the final minutes to break a tie and secure the victory, with Green also starring for the winners. Stromberg fouled out.
