Bill Would Double Mileage for Iowa County Supervisors
Des Moines March 12. A state county accounting department bill, headed by Joseph F. Wall, would raise supervisor mileage from five to ten cents per mile. The measure, aimed at easing travel costs, could boost annual mileage payments by about 174 dollars per supervisor, with Iowa counties ranging from three to seven supervisors.
