Man Shoots Self Near Railroad After Despair
John E. Haiston, 33, son of Mr and Mrs Peter Haiston, killed himself with a revolver near a railroad north of town after a day of despondency linked to poor health. He had visited the Jessie Wray home, talked of death, and was found by Charles Wray’s son after a shot was heard. Funeral set for tomorrow at 2 pm by Rev A W Miller.
