Mrs Christina Swanson Dies After Brief Illness
Mrs Christina Swanson died Friday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs Henry Peterson on West Burlington street after a short illness. Born in Sweden in 1827 she emigrated to Fairfield in 1889 living with her children. Survived by four children twenty two grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral set for 2:30 PM tomorrow at the residence with Rev W A Wolgemuth of the Lutheran church officiating. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs James Ulm died at about 8 49 PM in her North 8B street rooms after a brief illness from paralysis. She was 65 and well known in the city. Survived by five children Francis Roth Medford Oregon J W Ulm Hy City Kansas Anna Ulm Ed Ulm and Mrs Lemuel Kauffman. Funeral tomorrow at 10 AM at the Kauffman home North Court street with Rev G W Burch of the Christian church in charge.

Six year old boy struck by street car in Cedar Rapids
