Colonel Theodore Roosevelt died in his sleep at Sagamore Hill after a rheumatic attack and likely pulmonary embolism. He retired Sunday night and passed at 4 15 AM Monday with burial planned as private. Funeral will be at Christ Episcopal church with family in attendance.
