Police kill a deranged man in Toledo hotel
In Toledo on February 24 James W. McGregor a 55 year old Detroit saloon and restaurant operator fired on guests and police at the Hotel Waldorf. After barricading himself in his room he shot at three officers who entered. McGregor was killed in the ensuing gun battle.
