St Paul Liner overturns at pier near Atlantic Port
The American line steamship St Paul, a German passenger liner, capsized while being guided toward a pier. Three men are missing and assumed dead as crews and volunteers rescue injured workers and search the holds. The vessel lies on its port side amidships after lifting from the dry dock. The ship, 554 feet long with a 300 crew, was built in Philadelphia and launched in 1895.
