Missionary Convention Opens at Mount Pleasant
The twenty second annual meeting of the Women's Home Missionary Society of the Methodist church opens in Mount Pleasant this afternoon and will continue tomorrow. The program lists devotions, lectures, musical solos, reports, and discussions with dinner for delegates. Jacob Bernheim of Mercy Center Chicago will miss his address Thursday evening.

A large crowd filled the Methodist church auditorium as Dr G E Joy spoke nightly in a community campaign. The eloquent talks attract many and win youth friendship, urging courtesy in child rearing and respect in modern youth. Rest Room To Be Formally Opened In City Saturday
The rest room in the city will have a formal opening on Saturday with verbal invites to all. Refreshments and music will be provided. Attendance last week totaled 82 with 76 women 3 children and 4 men. 50 from the city and 25 from the country.
