Floradora Undergoing Major Extensions and Reopening Plans
The Floradora is being extensively remodeled with a glass front expansion at Gordon's dry goods store, a new dining room of 20 by 30 feet, a lunch room, bakery, and a rear kitchen. Edwin Harriman will run the restaurant, Minnes Krom the bakery and lunch counter, while Grosa & Moe co operate the saloon. A hotel passage and arch entrance are planned to connect with the hotel, potentially giving Gordon's the town’s largest street-front display.
