Moran Bros. awarded the contract to repair the badly damaged steamer Cottage City after the collision with the Blakely earlier this month. They will be paid 26000 dollars for the work. Purser Jones, the only injured man aboard either ship, remains in serious condition and clinic says he will stay in hospital for months. He was struck by flying debris and knocked into the water.
