Honolulu dispatch reports Chief of Police Taylor narrowly escaped an assassination attempt as a bomb was placed beneath his bedroom window. The device exploded wrecking the house but causing no injuries to the occupants. Motives remain unclear and no suspects identified.
Chicago on June 13 will host Flag Day observances by about two hundred thousand school children across the city. Republican leaders have pledged to speak at several schools during the event.
At a June 13 stockholders meeting in Battle Alaska Central promoter John Ballaine attacked President Frost as a crook and accused ex Senator George Turner of being Frosts stool pigeon.
