Attendance was high though not as large as last year, featuring the Duke and Duchess of Gordon, Marquis of Huntly, and several ladies from Gordon Castle. Over 100 invited guests dined daily, ending with balls and suppers at the Town-hall, where Bacchus’s Fine and the Myrtle of Pen is were cited. The Duke of Gordon and Sir Hector Munro joined the hounds, weather favored the place, and sport was excellent. A subscription pack is established, and Sir Hector presented his hounds to the club.
