Law Report on Guildhall Case of Confi deracy Voyage
Proceedings before Lord Kenyon concerning a cargo ship Con deracy captured by a French privateer. The suit questioned legality of the voyage from Canton to Europe and the French condemnation ruling. Underwriters and plaintiffs argued over neutrality, crew list requirements, and the 1772 commerce treaty with America.
