Two adjacent estates for let near Cookham and Maidenhead

A historic notice advertises a large unfurnished house on the bank of the Thames at Cookham with nine bedrooms, two garrets, stabling for eight horses, and extensive outbuildings. It includes about two acres of meadow and six acres of arable land at Wooburn Mead, plus a capital kitchen garden enclosed by a brick wall. Another house nearby offers eight bedrooms, offices, chaise-house, and stabling for four, with a gardener and poultry sheds. Lord Camelford Acquitted After Court Martial in Martinique

The court martial aboard HMS Invincible at Fort Royal Bay Martinique convened January 26 1798 to try Lord Camelford for mutiny related to the death of Lieutenant Charles Peterson aboard the Perdrix at Antigua.
