Adventure cartels bring prisoners to Dunkirk from Leith

On Saturday the Adventure cartels arrived at Leith harbour from Dunkirk carrying French prisoners. They sailed from Leith Roads with the prisoners on board and reached Dunkirk on the 22nd, where the prisoners were immediately taken ashore and transferred to a guard ship with a few small privateers in the outer harbour. During their stay no communication with the vessel was allowed and shore access was limited to about an hour under guard. The note urges similar precautions at sea ports to restrict officers on parole from strolling and observing the country.
