Not To Abandon Huron CCC Camp
A letter to City Manager Don J. Sears from J. J. McEntee, assistant director of emergency conservation work, Washington, D. C., assures the Huron CCC camp will be continued with funds for a mess hall and other buildings. Opposition had pressured a move to transfer the camp due to building condition, though the local unit has enough work through the eighth period. Confirmation came later from W. W. Howes, acting postmaster general.
