Armour won reserve grand champion at 20 cents per pound for the 946 pound Hereford owned by Robert Donnelly of Elk Point, netting $189.20.

The South Dakota Game and Fish Commission urged the U.S. Biological Survey to shift the duck season to October 14, but Henderson said a change from the October 22 date is unlikely.
