Reciprocal lend lease stance cited by General Venning
General Venning argues the United States should shift from keeping detailed accounts of lend-lease aid to a reciprocal system with Britain supplying equipment to American forces as well as receiving U S goods. He notes fighting aid is also reciprocal as Allied troops risk lives across battlefields, making cash value tallies impractical. A separate note warns of tire wear from wheel misalignment reducing mileage.
