Iroquois Man Hurt In Highway 14 Crash Near Brewery Hill
Two men suffered head injuries and two cars were damaged in a late afternoon collision on Highway 14 just east of Hurott. Duane Garry of Iroquois is in a Huron hospital with deep facial lacerations from windshield glass. Father G W Barr received treatment for a scalp wound and returned home. Police say Barr’s eastbound car and Peter Decker’s westbound pickup collided head on around 4 45 p m. Smoke from weeds reduced visibility along a 12 yard stretch below the hill. Garry rode with Decker and Jake Glanzer, both uninjured. A separate crash at Wisconsin Avenue and Fourth Street Southwest involved Keith Osberg’s car. both cars were badly damaged.
