Preston Is Host To District Scouts For Court Of Honor
Lake Preston Boy Scout troop hosted Oakwood district members for a court of honor on Monday evening. W H Powers librarian at State College and district awards chair led the program with Gale Frost assistant Sioux area exec overseeing awards. W L Miller district chairman attended and spoke. Second class awards were given to all Lake Preston troop No 7 members. first class to Baker Anderson of Brookings. Star to John Koehler of Brookings. Merit badges went to Robert Anderson John Koehler Charles Walker Ed Olson and Erwin Smith of Brookings. About 500 Scouts from Brookings Volga Arlington and Lake Preston attended. Next district court of honor will be at Brookings early next year.

Cavour Girl Wins Coloring Contest Prize

Scout Patrol To Meet This Week Panthers Patrol
A patrol meeting was held in conjunction with the regular troop meeting led by Carroll Ray assistant patrol leader and Bob Devers senior patrol leader. Present were Fay Hyde Charles Marston Scott Woodward and Bob Harns. Carroll announced another patrol meeting at his home Thursday at 7:30 PM.

November Rally Planned by Scouts Meeting at Church
