Highmore Store Changes Hands In County Deal
Highmore reports Mrs. Edna Harris sold the IG. A. store to W. Newton of Wolsey. Newton, with over four decades in Wolsey business, will run the Highmore store through his son Conrad Newton. The elder Newton’s father Henry Newton was an early Hyde county settler. The seller plans a California move within weeks. Newton takes over the stove on Monday, October 21.
