State Singers on Air Tonight in South Dakota Contest
Fourteen young South Dakota singers will perform on WNAX Yankton at 6 45 tonight in a statewide radio audition sponsored by the Atwater Kent foundation. Two winners, a man and a woman, will be chosen to represent the state in the Chicago district contest in November. Contestants from Brookings Vermilion Sioux Falls Rapid City Pierre Yankton Redfield Aberdeen and a Sioux Falls pair will compete. judging combines 20 musical authorities and radio listeners who will vote by mail before 9 pm Saturday.
