Pioneer Of Huron Dies Here Today
Mrs. Phoebe Brooks Hendrickson aged 87 a Huron pioneer and Eastern Star leader died this morning after a three day illness of influenza. Born January 21 1837 in St Thomas Canada she lived in Iowa and Fayette before moving to South Dakota in 1883. Surviving are daughters Amy Grant Adore Jones and Davenport and many grandchildren great grandchildren and five generations. Funeral plans await word from relatives.
