Social events post nuptial party and clubs in Huron
Mrs Merle Simpson hosted a post nuptial bridge party for Mrs Arthur Micheel formerly Miss Lucille Rupp with prizes to Mrs Darrell Huddleston and Mrs Ben Meyer. Ruby Stangland of Dell Rapids attended. Fortnightly club met at Mrs Dale Thorne with reports on the South Dakota Federation of Women's Clubs and new state president Queenie Stewart. Additional items include Pioneer Bridge Club at G Venables, a Huron Country Club dinner bridge, Missionary Society program, Junior High PTA meeting notes, and a Presbyterian tea honoring Miss Elizabeth Evans and Miss Jean Nordaff. A shower for Miss Yvonne McGrath was also held. South Africa to open first chain drug store system in Johannesburg.
