Los Angeles October 5 reports an alleged plot to disfigure actor John Warburton. Witnesses recall a recent assault in which Warburton was robbed of 25 dollars and left injured. Suspects Brown Bartlett and Block were identified. Dave Miller was named as having introduced Block to Hart.

Erwin High Wins Streak In East Central Play

Erwin High School diamondball team stays undefeated in East Central conference with nine straight victories. They beat Oldham 7 to 6 on the Oldham diamond, as Johnson of Oldham and Johannesen of Erwin each had key hits. De Smet fell 10 to 5 on Erwin’s field, and Erwin leads most of the week before preparing for the Lake Preston cetera tournament where D2 Smat Wil face Erwin in the first round.
